You are special to me...

Hi Everyone,

Today I want to show you a card that I made last week for a special friend. I hope she likes it.
I'm sorry for my short post but I'm really really sad because my grandfather passed away on Wednesday and he was like a father to me. One of the most important persons in my life. I want to thank you the prayers, the kind words and emails that I received in the last couple of days. THANK YOU! I really appreciate it.

I added glossy accent to the bow for more dimension.

Best Craft Organizer from "Chandlers"

Hi Everyone,

Two years ago my husband bought me my "dream" desk and a triple cabinet from
"www.Chandler"  as a birthday present. Yesterday I was having an awful day because my grandfather is very ill and this morning my dear and sweet husband surprised me with the news about my new Best Craft Organizer pieces. They are having a great sale right now and he bought me this awesome and new paper rack. How cool is that? Now I will be stalking the Fedex driver until my pieces arrive  :)

Here are the specifications from "Chandler Creations" website.
Just for paper, this is the smaller paper rack and is great for your scrapbook and craft paper. The cabinet is sized so the paper trays extend just a little farther than the traditional Best Craft paper storage cabinets. The smaller cabinet holds 18 paper trays and is 25 1/2" tall. It is 14" wide and 10" deep. Plenty of room to see your paper colors and designs. This cabinet comes with 18 paper trays and dowels

He also bought me two pieces of the Maple Kit-N. They were on sale for almost  half of the regular price so he decided to give me two pieces instead.  :)  I LOVE YOU BABY! :)

Here are the specifications...
BestCraft Organizer double miniStackable in MAPLE, 10-2" drawers and 6-3.5" drawers plus casters. (does not include drawer inserts) This new kit has the new 3.5" drawers, FANTASTIC SIZE Price include shipping Outside dimensions: height: 52.5" depth: 14" width: 14.25"

And these are the pictures of the desk and the triple cabinet he gave me two years ago. Cute right?
I looove my 30 drawers... So easy to find everything.

Finally this is the triple cabinet...
On Monday I will show you more pictures with some of my storage solutions. Have a great weekend.

Before I go I want to wish to all "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY"  and I hope your days are filled with love and happy memories. I wish you all a SHOWERS OF LOVE...

Thank you so much for your comments and support. They make my day!

Summer Memories Magnolia Stamps up for Pre-order

Hi Everyone,

First it all let me say that I HATE the changes on my blog. I don't know what happen but after been absent for a few weeks I found out everything in here changed. I would like to know if the same happened to you. Any suggestions?

Talking about crazy changes I noticed yesterday almost all the stores that I know sell Magnolia stamps were waiting to finally post the pre-order on Summer Memories Collection and FINALLY I was able to place my order. I know if so many competition out there but before you order your stamps check "" because Cindy will  price match if you find a lower price, place the link to where you found it at in the comment section of the order form at Stamping Scrapping and they will immediately refund the difference after you place your order. How can you go wrong? I'm so excited waiting for my new Tilda's. I'm in love with this new collection. I think is the biggest collection so far released from Magnolia and I love each image. Sorry I do not have any card to show you today but soon I will. I'm attaching these two pages with all the images from this collection that I found on the internet.

Wishing you all a great weekend,

LIM :)

Hi Everyone,

Today I want to show you two cards that I made this week with the new Magnolia Princess and Princesses Collection. OMG!!! I'm in love with this collection!!!. Almost all the material used in these cards are from ""

For my first card I used this cute Tilda which is one of my favorites. I colored her dress with distress inks (a mix of "victorian velvet and tattered rose) For the ballerina shoes and the ribbon I used "aged mahogany". Also I added to her shoes and ribbons a "glossy accent" to give it more dimension.

Materials used...
Papers: MME- Lost & Found (Madison Avenue Collection)
(Skin- tattered rose. Chicks- tattered rose and worn lipstick. Dress- a mix of victorian velvet and tattered rose, hair- vintage photo. Shoes- aged magohany)
Tools: Nestabilities, twine, brads, pearls, charms, stickles, WOC flowers

For my second card I used this lovely and super cute Tilda "Mother to be". I love how sweet she looks holding her baby boom. I used a few layers of papers, WOF flowers and a lot of distress inks. I added to her shoes a little bit of "glossy accent" and some pocket dots to her dress.

I'm back and now living in a new city!!!

Hi Everyone,

It's been soooo long from my last post but I finally moved from Cleveland to a warmer North Carolina (also a little bit closer to home...Miami :) I am still settling down. Today I bought some more Recollections cubes from Michael's and am still organizing my scrapping supplies. I will show a few pictures of my new little corner soon.

My dear friend Cindy asked me to be part of her Magnolia Stamp Lover designer team and today is my first post for this week challenge. The talented girls from MSLDT wants you to make a card using just sentiment stamps from Magnolia. No Tilda's or Edwin's, just sentiment stamps. I must confess that I had a hard time because I never made a card with just a sentiment before, but at the end I liked the final result. I used the sentiment "God Jul" from Christmas-2008 collection. I added some "crackle accent" to the letters to give them more dimension. Below is the list with all the materials that I used. The challenge is running between until March 24th at 11:59pm

Stamp: "God Jul" from Magnolia Christmas Collection 2008
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black and Distress inks. ( I mixed a little bit of "Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain and Antique linen)
Papers: My Mind's Eye ( Lost & Found- Union Square Collection)
Tools: Spellbinders Nestabilities- Lacey Circles. Doohickey's Cutting Dies (Wedding Collecting Tilda Lace, Peony Petals and Spruce)
Embellishments: Crackle Accent, eyelets, brads and gold pearls. Liquid applique and platinum stickle.

Below is a card that I made for a friendly and nice lady that I met here in NC. Her mom's birthday was March 10th and she asked me to make something special for her. I wasn't happy with the result but this was my first card after 5 months without touching a ink or a brush...but she like it... :)

I wish you all a great weekend.

Magnolia New Collection and Fall Kit- 2011

Hi Ladies!

I know the stamping world is buzzing over the release of Magnolia's Sweet Dreams Christmas Collection for 2011 but yesterday I received my fall club kit and I want to share with you the pictures of the stamps that came in this kit. My favorite so far is the first Tilda with the hearts. I love that I will be able to use this stamp not just for Christmas but also for Birthday's or any other occasion. :)

Also I found this picture on Facebook. I can't wait for the new release even if I don't have much time to make cards this year I know they will have a special place in my collection. :)Enjoy!
