It's time for a Candy Blog!!!

This Candy Blog is already closed. Thank you so much for participating and I will organized another Candy on November to celebrate my Birthday.
Thank you!!!

This post will be on the top until October 11th. Please check my other post below. Thanks!

Well, I wanted to do this Candy loooong time ago. I'm sorry, but during last months my life became so hectic than I was unable to do it... But now I'm ready.

If you wish to participate, please leave me a comment and include a post in your own blog to let everybody know about this Candy. Also It would be great if you could let me know about your favorite stamp storage solutions (but this last think is not obligatory to participate). I have tons of Magnolia stamps and I'm having a problem with the storage because I want to get everything in the same place, what seems nearly impossible... I use empty Cd cases that I love because they fit pretty well inside my drawers, but I get in trouble with large stamps like tree, houses, etc.. So, I have those in EZ-mount storage sheets , which I love but I'm afraid to have all my mini Magnolia stamps in there and maybe lose one.. ( I can't take that risk, hahahaha).

Anyways, it would be nice if you could provide me with ideas about the storage solution for a big collection of Magnolia stamps. :))

I will pick 1 winner on Saturday October 11th, 2008 at 8:00 PM (US Eastern Time).

The prize will be:
1- The new scalloped border punch from Martha Stewart Collection
2-150 stamped images of different companies like Magnolia, HÄnglars, Whipper Snapper, Penny Black, Precious Moments, etc...

3- Some buttons, white lace and a few charms.

Good Luck!!!

Hugs,

Lim

Great blog candy! I don't have any Magnolia's so not too sure what advice to offer on storage. Most of my stamps are EZ mounted then stored in CD cases. The ones that are too big are in zip lock bags in a clear shoe box. I will post a link to your blog on mine (papercrafterlori.blogspot.com).

What wonderful Candy. Unfortunately I cannot give you any tips as I am new to stamping and as yet don't have many stamps, but its been fun reading all the comments so that I can pick up on hints and tips for when I start buying stamps. Happy stamping!

What a great gift!!! I would love all those images. I am just getting started & have only a handfull of images, mainly Bella's. I do keep my Bella's in an 8x8 album. I made a pocket page that will hold the stamp & any images. Probably too much work for the amount of stamps you have. Thanks!!

This is co wonderfull, I'd love to be the lucky one ;) I put info to my blog.
About the storage... I'm lousy with it... I have my stamps all over and allways missing the one I would like to use, so sorry, no help from here :)

Lim,
I had a friend who used a big 3 ring notebook and somehow used page protectors and baseball card holders to hold hers.

Oh my goodness... what great candy. Thank you for the chance to be drawn :) I use the card collectors protective sleeves for my small stamps and put them in a 3 ring binder. This way you can put extras behind the stamp and easily see what you're looking for, 9 stamps per page. So far I haven't misplaced one! LOL
I have noted your blog and candy here:

Thanks for letting us all play!

Hi Lim this is a wonderful blog candy your giving away and I would love to win as I am slowly but surely running out of magnolia stamped images. I have left a link on my blog for everyone else to join in. I personally use DVD covers for my smaller stamps, I stamp the images onto blank card and then I know what stamps are in what case. Anyway good luck in your hunt for finding a suitable storage solution, Karen

Wow I love your blog candy...and your cards are so great. Have you tried putting your Magnolia images into a binder with the photo pages that have 4 pockets per page?? Maybe make each pocket resealable with a light reusable tape?? Just a guess as I don't have any of those stamps yet.

Wow!! What a great offering!!
Those stamped images would keep me busy for a year (at least)!! lol
I love the Precious Moments ones!

I keep my larger ones on my EZMount pages, and my wood ones in cases similar to the Stampin' Up ones.

Good luck in finding a good solution that will work for your needs. Also, thank you so much for the great blog candy!!

Sorry, but I don't have a blog.

WOW what lovely blog candy, I love stamping, you have alot of lovely stamps, great site. I have used Cd's to store my unmounted stamps but am currently trying a different storage way. I have laminated A4 pieces of card and put the stamps on each piece and stored in a drawer, Alpha's together, teddies together etc.
I have added your blog candy to my blog.

Hi Lim,
I used the eazy mount coated card sheets which fit into a ringbinder, you can also used laminated plastic sheets, the stamps cling to these lovely, and as they ar all in a file, they dont take up to much room unless you have gazillions!!!!!!!!!
Loving your very generous candy you have up for grabs, and your blog is great too.
Happy Saturday,
Sally. x

Some fab candy on offer - please enter me nto the draw. I have advertised this on my blog.

I haven't many stamps but I use a couple of old VHS cases.

Sophie said...

For smaller stamps - cd cases like you. For larger - page protectors, but it isn't so comfortable. I'm still thinking about some better solution.

Thanks for a chance to win! Here's a post about your candy:

What a great blogcandy!
I store my Um-stamps in ringbinders, works great, easy to get the stamp I want, when I want it :-)

pammy jo said...

what wonderful candy - thanks so much for offering it! i'm wondering if small clear plastic folders would work to store your stamps...you can then put the folders in hanging storage folders to keep them organized and in order. you could even put tabs on them to help stay organized - good luck :)

Thought I'd already left a comment here - but obviously posted on my blog and then got distracted.
I shall be reading the storage suggestions with great interest as I could do with some help there!
My EZ mount stamps are currently stored on A4 ez mount sheets and stored in a press-stud folder. My clear stamps on printed acetate are stored in a display folder.
My mounted stamps are stored in plastic storage boxes but it does mean I can't see what's in there.
