A Spoon Full of Sugar. Week# 21- Lim's Sketch.

Hi Everynone,

This week in "A Spoon Full of Sugar" you have to make a card using the below sketch. I really want to apology to all the "Christmas lovers" because I did not use proper colors for a Christmas card. Thanks to all the tips and suggestions that I received from my Candy Blog about storage. It encouraged me to re-organize my stamp-room which right now looks like a "war zone"... believe it or not I spent more that 3 hours making this card because I didn't like the only papers I had available and easy to grab, either the embellishment or the ink that I used...In another words... I am far of feeling proud of this card... Sorry.... :((

Please, note that this week we have a new sponsor at " A Spoon Full of Sugar" house, which is "Roses on Papers...and Magnolia too" . This sponsor is donating a wonderful selection of papers, flowers and even a Tilda Stamp. Go and check it out!!

Stamp: Whipper Snapper
Papers: Bazzil and the DP I really don't have idea :(
Embellishment: Brads, snowflake punh from Martha Stewart, stickles, buttons and charm from Making Memories.

Hugs,

Lim :))

A Spooon Full of Sugar. Week# 19

Hi everyone,

Here is another week for our great challenge blog " A Spoon Full of Sugar". This week you have to follow this wonderful sketch that my dear friend Camilla designed for us. I have to do some changes to my card because the stamp was so big that I was having problems putting all the details together, so I decided to turn to the side the scalloped edges.

Today I received this image from a friend and I couldn't resist the temptation of making a card right away. I think HÄnglar stamps induce this reaction in me :)) Thank you so much to the friend who sent me this image.

The scalloped and the bat punches are from Martha Stewart Collection.
The stamp with the sentiment is from Whipper Snapper.
Embellishment is from stash. Brads, papers, buttons, stickles.

Hugs,

Lim :)

A Spooon Full of Sugar. Week# 18

Hi Ladies,

Wow..I can't believe it! It's the week # 18 for our challenge at "A Spoon Full Of Sugar"... Time runs so fast!

I'm so excited about this week challenge because you have to use your imagination to interpret this challenge... and of course, the sky is the limit!!
You have to make a card in which the theme is "so charming"...You can use a charming stamp, or charms, or anything that is charming for you. I just bought this cute little guy from Whipper Snapper and I can't wait to do some charming cards. I was so impatient that I made two cards :))

Here is my first card. The name of this cute little guy is Cole. Here is the link.
(After posting the picture I notice that I make a little mistake with the paper in the heart and scalloped die) Thank you to my dear friend Marte that give me the name and the link of this die that I love so much. I love you sweetie!

For my second card I used the set of "Grunge" from "Stempelglede " to create the flowers.

I know I said that before but I can't stop saying...I felt sooo in love with this set because it allows you to create the most beautiful flowers you can imagine. If you don't own it yet, I strongly recommend you going to "Stempelglede" to place your order before Christmas, as you will have much fun playing around with the little and big stamps contained in this set... And I swear this is NOT a commercial, LOL hahaha, it's just the result of my admiration :)))

LIM

A Challenge, some news and two more cards...

Hi Everyone,

Today is a happy day for me because yesterday my dear friend Dawn posted my "HÄnglar and Magnolia cake" in the "Inspirational Blog" Woohoo!!! ( That's me jumping around) This is the second time in 5 months. Thank you so much Dawn , you absolutely made my day!!!
Please check her blog because she makes amazing cards.

Now, I want to show you the card I made for this week challenge of "A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge Blog"... My friend Nikki composed this wonderful sketch for us to follow... I had to do a little change because after placing the flowers I noticed that I didn't have enough room for the sentiment, so I pushed him a little bit towards the side.

Now, I am going to show you two more cards.. I was so inspired by the papers sent by my dear friend Hanne that I ended up making two additional cards. I Used almost the same colors because I wanted them to look as a"family". Thank you Hanne for these beautiful papers. :)
The images were sent by a good friend of mine, and belongs to the new HÄnglar & StÄmplar collection. Thank you friend! I love them!!

Hugs,
Lim :)

A HÄnglar and Magnolia Cake.

Hi Everybody,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Today this will be a fast post as I get too many pictures to show... that's why this time I will show my post just in English.
This week in "A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge" we have to do anything BUT a card. I was thinking in some idea related to the Candy Blog I plan to announce this week, and thought that something sweet would be the perfect match... and what is sweeter that a HÄnglar and Magnolia cake??? :))

Bellow are shown the pictures of each side of the cake plus some details. As you can see per the picture I used 3 empty boxes that I found in the store. Hope you like it.

Big Hugs,
LIM :)

A Spoon Full of Sugar. Week# 14

Hi again!
Another great week for the wonderful challenge " A Spoon Full of Sugar". This time you have to make a card using 3 different ribbons. Remember that now it's open to any stamp. I believe this is great because it allows you to use your favorite stamps, or just those you never used before...(this happened to me with this stamp, I love it, but never used it 'til now) . I utilized three different ribbons, two of t
hem used twice. Hope you like it.

Today I have a second card to show you :))
I'm so in love with this paper from Urban Window Collection but I just bought 2 pieces (shame on me! Now I will have to go back to Michael's to buy more, I know hahahaha). Well, with 2 pieces of paper 12x12 I made the four Christmas cards you can see in one of my previous posts, plus the two ones I am showing here. I employed each inch of the paper to the max. :)) I LOVE the color combination of orange, green, blue and brown.
I made this card for one of my ex-coworkers and really good friend. I know she loves orange and green so I think it is perfect for her. The gift and ribbon at the girl head comes as 3D. Hope everybody is having a good time irrespective of where you are.
Big Hugs,

Lim

Muchos saludos y abrazos,

LIM

Stamps: Whipper Snapper
Papers: Urban Window Collection ( Boho Chic Funky Fix), bazzil and SU
Ink: SU Re-inkers
