A surprise on the mail and two cards...

Look what I received in the mail today!!!... This is soo cool!!.. I saw a similar item like this in my Deb's blog and I told her that I loved that idea and she was so nice to talk to her husband and make one for me too... I looove it!!!. Really, it looks great in my stamp-room... Good place to have the cards that I keep for myself and get it in display without any fingers on them... it can also be used as a calendar !!! .. I convinced my dear friend Deb that her husband should sell this type of art, don't you think?... they liked the idea too and started selling them at $15.00 + shipping. So if you want to order one go to Deb's blog and send her an email. The quality is really good. In real life look even better than this picture... I'm so happy with mine.. THANK YOU DEBBIE!!! You made my day!!!

Now I want to show you 2 Hanglar cards. One of my dear friends from Norway sent me as a birthday present 3 beautiful Hanglar stamps and of course I had to make a card right away.. I'm a Hanglar-aholic, no question... LOL :)) Thank you my friend!!! You know that I really really appreciate this present and the most important of all, your friendship. I love you!! :))





The other card is for a nice person who is going through a difficult time right now in her life, and she needs HOPE. This is the reason why I have so many colors and flowers in this card, to cheer her up a bit.. Hope she like it. :))

Two Birthday's card and Happy Mother's Day!!!

Hi!!!

Well, I keep myself struggling against this bothering cold/flu which is the most persistent I suffered in a very long time.. Actually, temperatures have been fluctuating a lot in Miami lately, what makes things difficult for those of us who catch a cold in here. I know a few of you are also like me right now and wish you all to get better soon :))

Today I want to show 2 cards that I made for two of my dear Norwegian friends. Camilla and Heidi... Happy Birthday my friends!!! I wish you both enjoy a wonderful day with your relatives and friends. :))

The first card is for my sweet and talented friend Heidi. Her birthday was yesterday Feb, 7th.





The second card is for the super talented Camilla whose birthday is today. Feb, 8th. Please check their blogs and wish them a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Both of them make amazing cards.. You will be stunned..!!!




And last, but not least, I want to wish ALL of my Norwegian friends a Happy Mother's Day!!! I am not sure if it is only in Norway, because here in America takes place on May. I wish you have a beautiful and wonderful day!!

A card for a friend.

Peddler's Pack Afternoon.

I made this card for a friend... Look at this image!!! I think it's soooo cute. I received this stamp a few days ago and I was so excited to make a card with her. The company is Peddler's pack. As soon as I placed my order I received an email with the confirmation, and the delivery was really fast. Good customer service!!!
I colored the image with the new in-colors from SU. They are gorgeous in real life.

I made this card for a friend who is having health issues but I'm trying to tell her, don't loss the FAITH...and BELIEVE!!!...The good times will come back soon.

My first Black and White HÄnglar card.

A few weeks ago I received a card from my good friend Dawn. You can see her beautiful card here. ( I will do a post soon with all the goodies that she sent me and also what I received from my other friends over these weeks, while I was busy with my moving.)

I told Dawn that it was difficult for me to make a black and white card, but she encorauged me to give it a try... and so I did!!!! :)) I hope you all like it. I wasn't sure in the beginning , but now I like the result... and my dear Dawn, this card it's for you because you were my inspiration. I will send it to you soon.

A card for Gloria.

My dear friend and neighbor Gloria will have a surgery tomorrow. She is a marvelous old lady always caring about others and never trying to draw much attention on her, reason why I heard this news right yesterday. I thus decided to make a card just to cheer her up a little bit.
I used her favorites colors. A few flowers ( she love her garden) and a lot of sticklers. I hope she like it. :)

Hi everybody,

I want to thank you for sending me all the lovely emails that I received these last days. I'm extremely busy right now with a few things that I still have pending to do, but I promise to get back soon with more cards.

Yesterday was a happy happy day because I received a package from my friend Kristine. She send me a BEAUTIFUL card , flowers, ribbons, papers, stamped images, a cute stamp and even embellishment to make more cards... can you believe her generosity?.. I was overwhelmed when I saw all what she send me...

Her card was out of this world. I have to take more pictures for you to see how beautiful it is.

I made this card for my friend Monique. Today, May 19Th is her birthday and the card is on the way to Netherlands with a little surprise haha :))

I wanted her to be able of seeing her card today so I asked her if I can posted and she agreed. I'm so sorry for not sending you the card due in time, Monique. I was so busy this last month and I'm just catching up with my pending tasks . But I made this card for you with all my love. I hope you like it.

To my friends...THANK YOU!!!

These days are so hard to me for so many reason, I think most of you already know. And I have to say that these days I learn a lot about life and about friendship.

When I started this blog (just 2 months ago) I never imagined that I could meet people so special and caring about others. I'm overwhelmed because all these new friends have given me so much love these days and all of them sent me beautiful emails, cards and even flowers!!! Do you believe that?? Yes, beautiful flowers!!

Because of all these things, I want to THANK EACH OF YOU because you make me so happy and show me how to get close to someone who is physically so far away. There are several people in this blog to whom I developped a sincere feeling of friendship (Marte, Renne, Dawn, Dana, Erin, Kristine, Nikki, Camilla, Sandra, Monique,... ), but among them there are two who are very, very special to me: Debbie and Hanne. Look what they send me yesterday.

My dear friend Debbie sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers, you can see it below. Deb, I wish you could have seen my face when I opened the door.... :))) You make me so happy.
And my dear friend Hanne, you really moved me with what you wrote in your amazing and beautiful card. Even the back of her card is gorgeous !!! THANK YOU !!!

Ann Elise..Thinking Of You...

This card is so special to me because is for a sweet lady (Ann Elise) who lost one of her sons many years ago and today May 9Th is the anniversary of his passing.

I know by experience that it doesn't matter how long the loss took place, we are always going to have an empty space in our hearts. Even when some people recommends to let it go, nobody who hasn't experienced the same situation can imagine how hard it is.

With this card, I want to tell her " Thinking of you " today and especially on Mother's Day, which in America is this Sunday.
