A Spoon Full of Sugar...Sonja Sketch.

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all are having a great Summer. I miss the beach but that's OK... I will be flying to Miami soon to visit my parents so I will enjoy the blue waters in no time.

We had a break at "A Spoon Full of Sugar" but we are back again with this super cute sketch by Sonja. Sorry that I'm not writing to much this time but I'm in a hurry. To be honest I don't feel happy with the card I made, but it's better to show you guys something rather than nothing.

The super cute penguin is from "Whimsie Doodle" a digital stamp company. I just loooove all her designs. They are adorable.

ASFS- WK# 95- An Easter card and some pictures of my little princess

Hi Everyone,

I'm sorry that I have been so quiet this week but I had my little dog sick. She jumped from the sofa to the floor and injured her back. :(( She had to be in a cage for 10 days until she recovers herself completely, what is not an easy task because she has never been in a cage before :(( She hates it!! and me too...

I'm spending a few hours a day by preparing her new diet (which changed drastically) , administering the medicines (she drives me crazy to take them), and spoiling her a little bit so... bottom line, I currently have no time to make any card. On top of that we are moving in 2 weeks and I still packing and selecting things that I will take with us. Can you tell I'm stressed???!!!!

I have a few cards scheduled for the next weeks and I hope I can settled in the new place soon.

Today I want to show you a card that I made a few weeks ago for ASFS challenge blog. I know that is not the typical "Easter" card, but I made it before the girls picked the last theme. Sorry. I used one of my favorite color combination (green and blue) with this super cute hippo from Magnolia Collection.

And last but not least, here are some pictures of Lara, my little princess not happy at all.... :))

Hugs to all,

A Spoon Full Of Sugar Wk# 88...Free style.

Hi Ladies,

Here is my entry for "A Spoon Full of Sugar". To be honest to you, this is the type of challenge I like the most... free style :)) I can make a card using whatever idea comes to my mind without worrying about sketches or anything else. I like sketches too, don't get me wrong, but I prefer free style :))

I don't use too often this combination of colors but my friend Dawn helped me to see the beauty of these three colors together. She made the most beautiful black and white cards I have ever seen. I noticed that she sometimes applies a little bit of red, so I give it a try using one of my favorite Magnolia stamps.

I don't know if you can see the details in the flowers but I first stamped the beautiful Grunge Collection set from Stempelglede and later on punched it with the EK Success large punch. Finally, I added a bit of glue and some Crystal Diamond Glitter.

Have a great day and the most important...Have FUN!!!

Two A Spoon Full of Sugar Cards....Challenge # 48 and 49

Hi Everyone,

WOW!!! I'm the worse blogger ever!!

I'm sorry but on last week the grandmother of one of my friends passed away and I took care of her three kids... I didn't even imagine that it could be so demanding taking care of three small children at the same time.. They drove me crazy, but I was happy of helping my friend in this dificult time. On top of that, I'm also having some relatives staying over for a few months and this is taking a lot of my time so that's why I might not be doing a card daily during this time, but will try my best.

Last week I was unavailable to post my card for "A Spoon Full of Sugar" challenge but today I will show you both cards. Last week our talented DT Caryn created this beautiful sketch to follow which I enjoyed much.. Thank you Caryn!!!

And for this week you have to make a card using one of my favorite color combinations: blue and green, so it was so easy making this card with one of my Hanglars. :)

Have fun!

A Spoon Full of Sugar - To die for....

Hi everyone,

WOW!!! I have been out for a few days even if I didn't plan for it, but was so nice just disconnecting from the routine having a good time with my family and friends. I still have one more day because my husband returns to work on Wednesday, so I'm just posting my card for our challenge at "A Spoon Full of Sugar" and will go back to enjoy our time together, but I will be back on Wednesday :))

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend. I did :) and that's why I chose this stamp to make my card for this week. This week the theme is easy: you need to use a die or a punch and place it anywhere in your card. I selected the Nestabilities and also the Quickutz for the swirls.

The Magnolia stamp from Easter collection , prima flowers, stickles and the distress ink to color my card are from one of my favorites stores: "Roses on Papers". This card is also part of my DT with ROP. :) The paper is from Martha Stewart and the brads and other embellishments from my own stash.

A Spoon Full of Sugar -Challenge Wk# 37

Hi,

Today I want to show you my card as part of the DT for "A Spoon Full Of Sugar Challenge blog".
This week you have to follow the wonderful sketch by Tina. The card I show here was made using one of the old Magnolia stamps (I think it is from 2005 or 2006). Even though I love the new Magnolia's collections and I believe Tilda is getting better with the years, I still love very much the older ones too. The sentiment is from the SU set called "Seasonal Whimsy" and states:
"Hope everything's going well in your little corner of the world"

Hugs to all,

LIM
