Best Craft Organizer from "Chandlers Creations.com"

Hi Everyone,

Two years ago my husband bought me my "dream" desk and a triple cabinet from
"www.Chandler Creations.com"  as a birthday present. Yesterday I was having an awful day because my grandfather is very ill and this morning my dear and sweet husband surprised me with the news about my new Best Craft Organizer pieces. They are having a great sale right now and he bought me this awesome and new paper rack. How cool is that? Now I will be stalking the Fedex driver until my pieces arrive  :)

Here are the specifications from "Chandler Creations" website.
Just for paper, this is the smaller paper rack and is great for your scrapbook and craft paper. The cabinet is sized so the paper trays extend just a little farther than the traditional Best Craft paper storage cabinets. The smaller cabinet holds 18 paper trays and is 25 1/2" tall. It is 14" wide and 10" deep. Plenty of room to see your paper colors and designs. This cabinet comes with 18 paper trays and dowels

He also bought me two pieces of the Maple Kit-N. They were on sale for almost  half of the regular price so he decided to give me two pieces instead.  :)  I LOVE YOU BABY! :)

Here are the specifications...
BestCraft Organizer double miniStackable in MAPLE, 10-2" drawers and 6-3.5" drawers plus casters. (does not include drawer inserts) This new kit has the new 3.5" drawers, FANTASTIC SIZE Price include shipping Outside dimensions: height: 52.5" depth: 14" width: 14.25"

And these are the pictures of the desk and the triple cabinet he gave me two years ago. Cute right?
I looove my 30 drawers... So easy to find everything.

Finally this is the triple cabinet...
On Monday I will show you more pictures with some of my storage solutions. Have a great weekend.

Hugs,
LIM

Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers, drawer dividers with coupon and a Yo-Yo maker tool.

Hi Everyone,

Since my "mojo" run out I had plenty of time to organize everything in my scrap-room and decided to have my "Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers" in these clear boxes that I love so much. The boxes are 12x12 from the company"Protect-N-Storage". The handy insert or dividers fits perfectly in your Protect and Store scrapbook cases, but is also great for desk drawers, any 12x12 drawer from Wal-mart or Target, cabinets, and more. Sturdy plastic has four extra-small, three small, two medium, and one large compartment. Great for storing all sorts of supplies.

I bought mine at Pat Catan's but now I found out that you can buy these amazing boxes and dividers at www.consumercraft.com.

The boxes are $3.47 each and the product ID is: 1203-66
The dividers are $2.17 each and the product ID is: 1203-66TRAY

And the best of all....a coupon...You can use this coupon from today to March 27th and save 25% of the whole purchase. Code: FRIEND2011

I also found this cool tool and knew I have to share with you. Is not new, but for me it is. I love the look of the yo-yo flowers and embellishments but I'm so bad with the sewing machine that I was forced to buy some pre-made yo-yo flowers on the store at $5.00

Two days after I bought my pre-made yo yo's I found this super cool and easy to use tool for the same price, so now I will make my own little flowers...and the best of all...you don't need a sewing machine. :))

They have another two sizes, large and XL but they are too big for my cards so I decided to buy the extra small and the small. ($ 4.97 each)

JoAnn Fabrics Bargain...

Hi Ladies!

I'm sorry that I don't have any craft project to show you today. I have been sick for the last few weeks and my "mojo" run away... far, far away... :(

On Sunday I went shopping to JoAnn Fabrics and found that they are closing all the SMALL stores (at least this is what the cashier told me) so they are having a huge discount in everything. I was sad to find out that the only JoAnn that I have close is closing too, but at least I have the opportunity of buying a lot of new stuff... Poor hubby... he felt ashamed of going to the cashier with all the floss but seeing what the other ladies purchased made him feel better... LOL.... He didn't believe that we all NEED all this stuff...

Everything on the store were 50% and 75% off the regular price.

I will post a few pictures of the goodies that I bought and if you have an small JoAnn Fabrics close to you go and check if they are closing too so you can grab some goodies for yourself... :)

Good Luck!

Pictures from our neighborhood and some bargains from Pat Catan's

Hi Everyone,

I will not have any card to show until I return to Miami, where I got all my craft stuff. In the meantime I can show you the sets of stamps that I bought last weekend in Pat Catan's.
Each set was on sale for $1.00. The regular price in Michael's is $9.99 and for some sets is $14.99, so lucky you if you live nearby a Pat Catan's ... :)) I'm in love with this store!!!!

They also have these small sets at $0.50 each... I think they are so cute and a super bargain, don't you think? :)) The brads cost $ 0.50 (50 brads per pkg) and the flowers $1.79 (32 flowers per pkg).

I also bought these little clear boxes to store my reinkers bottles from Tim Holtz. I do not know if all the 36 bottles will fit in a single box, reason why I purchased 2. The box dimensions are: 4 x 8 x 4. There are different sizes on the store.

And last but not least, here you get some more pictures of our new neighborhood.
I hope everybody is having a great week.

LIM :)

WK# 92- Distress Inks, Pearls and Stickles

Good Morning,

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I'm in Cleveland with my husband so I'm really happy right now :))
Cleveland impressed me more than I expected. The part of the city were we are living looks so nice. Beautiful houses around our building, nice view of the frozen lake and three close parks to be in touch with nature. The frozen lake looks like a big pool of whip cream or something like that. It's really beautiful! I love it! Below I included a slide show with some pictures.
People is nice and I like everything around here so far. I found a goldmine called "Pat Catan's" which is a craft store that seems to supply some goodies to Michael's. At first I couldn't believe the prices. I was in shock!!!
- 50 brads for $0.50
- bazzill flowers -packages of 12 for $1.79
- Inque Boutique Stamps sets from $1.00 I can't believe that I found the scrap-world heaven!!! in Ohio!!!! :))) I paid $9.99 for some of these sets at Michael's, while here it only costs $1.00.

Now let's talk about ASFS challenge blog. I made this card using one of my favorite Magnolia stamps. If you want to play with us this week the theme is easy: just use distress inks, pearls and stickles in your card :))

Enjoy the pictures!

Vacation Alert!

Hi Ladies!

This is me again. I apologize with all you because I have post lately not much. The thing is that I have been involved in many things at once at personal level, and the result has been myself struggling to find some time to post. Anyways, I want to THANK all my friends for your emails and concerns. I'm doing fine. Indeed I feel super happy because tomorrow we will be taking our vacation in Cuba to spend two weeks with my relatives. Last time I visited my country was 14 years ago so I have so much to see and enjoy with my family.

I am also working the final details of my scrap-room. I expect the last piece of my cabinet to arrive by the mid of October and I will post some pictures when the cabinet arrives.

Last week I received my two ink pads holders and they are already mounted on the wall. I love them so much! Now I have room for even more ink pads and everything is organized. I bought the ink pad holders from Organize more, Here is the link.

I will post pictures when I'm back of my vacations.

Let me say that the owners Mike and Chrissy are super nice , so friendly and with a great customer service. I was impressed with the quality of the products. Check out their store because they have a lot of models and I believe they are having a sale, so you might even save a few bucks :)))

I hope everyone had a great summer and most importantly, have fun!!!

The first piece of my puzzle ... ARRIVED!!!!

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all are having a great beginning of week. Here the temperatures are still HOT, HOT... Well, as I mentioned in earlier posts, I'm in the process of re-designing my scrapping room, which is taking long...oh boy... This is the story that never ends... :((

I'm always looking for better solutions and ideas to storage everything, but I can't find anything that pleases me 100%. I tried with a few plastic containers, little boxes , ink storage from SU, drawers from Walmart and Ikea, etc... but feels like none of these solutions have been working for me.

Well, only thing I can say for now is that my beautiful new desk arrived last Saturday and my hubby and I put it together in some half an hour. Really easy to assemble and the best part is that this little piece of furniture is soooooo functional..At least for me... I love it!!! and I have 30 drawers just for me!!! Can you believe it??? :)))

Forgive me for not showing pictures now but I prefer to wait a few weeks until my cabinet and other pieces of furniture arrive, so I will be able to show you the whole picture. I promise to show the details of my storage solutions :))

In the afternoon we went out to the store looking for some stuff for my new desk and I happened to see a super cute lamp, which of course I had to own ;)... I love the color and it's a great accent accessory for my room. The best part though is that I can listen music from my iPods... I was also impressed with the decent quality of the incorporated speakers. You better have a look at the picture and judge by yourself ;)

And last but not least, I want to show you a card that I made to my husband a week ago. He loved it. The stamp is from Motivet, papers are from SU and rubbons are from Making Memories. I added some Martha Stewart clear glitter to give it a little bit of texture, liquid pearls and some Prima flowers. The heart punch is from SU.

Do you see anything cuter than this stamp?... It's called Doraline...Sorry I think is adorable.

A Spoon Full of Sugar. Week# 11

Hi everyone,
From now on I will try to write this blog in Spanish too because I met some nice and talented ladies from Spain and I want them to have the opportunity to easily understand what's going on.

Hola a todas,

De ahora en adelante trataré de hacer este blog también en español, ya que he tenido la oportunidad de conocer a unas chicas españolas con mucho talento y que hacen unos trabajos maravillosos, así que quiero que a ellas les resulte cómodo poder leer mi blog.

This week on "A Spoon Full Of Sugar Challenge Blog" you have to make a card with something recycled. It can be anything, a ribbon, papers, old stickers, embellishment, just use your imagination.

Esta semana en el blog " A Spoon Full of Sugar" hay que hacer una tarjeta con algo reciclado, ya sean cintas, pegatinas, papeles o cualquier elemento de decoración.

I used this cool box that my mom gave me a few months ago to storage my stickles. This is the first time I altered something and I really liked the experience. Inside the box I made a little chart with the name and a sample of the stickles that I have so that I can be more organized.
I hope you like it.

Papers: Deja Views- Global Views. You can find their website here: www.dejaviews.com
Embellishment: Prima flowers, gems, swirls, brads, charms.

Storage for my small flowers.

Often times I receive emails asking me where and how I store my flowers, and how many of them I have, LOL hahaha. These questions came after I posted about my flowers shopping at Michael's. hahaha
Well, I took these pictures of my small flowers. I will post in the future where I store the ohers (the large ones). I am still organizing my house after the moving and my craft room is not ready yet.. But I will post pictures once everything is properly arranged :))

Last year I bought these plastic containers at Michael's for $3.00 each and they have 20 dividers. I love them!
