Happy New Year!!! A Picture, some cards and an award!!!

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

I hope all of you had a great time and lot of fun celebrating the New Year. We stayed at home with my mom and a couple of friends. Nothing is better than good company, good wine and food. :)

I didn't have much time to make cards during these days but I managed to make these two. I used two stamps that I received as a gift for my Birthday from a very special friend. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I'm still jumping on my chair with happiness for such an AMAZING gift. You made my day!!! I also need to take pictures of all the wonderful cards I received for my Birthday and Christmas. I will not describe the materials used in these 2 cards because is a long post but is you have any question, please feel free to ask me. :))








Today I spent half of my day taking off the Christmas decoration because last year it took me almost a month :)) Here is a picture of part of my living room. ( I don't know why the sofa and the accessories look black, the real color is chocolate brown and the rest of the colors are beige, toasted orange and blue) . Even my little Lara appears on one corner of the picture with a toy in her bed. :)) I'm looking for new tables to match with my sofa and love seat but didn't find anything that catch my eyes yet, so in the meantime I have these little dark brown tables..

Sketch by Rosette and a few awards..

Wow.. It's Sunday already...Time flies!!
Today I am posting a card that I made for "Cupcake Craft Challenge Blog". I'm using the sketch from the talented and sweet Rosette. We came friends from the moment she won my last Candy Blog. She's super nice and makes beautiful cards. Please check her blog.
The sketch can be turned sideways or at any angle you choose, added with any embellishments, and the sentiment is up to you, if you make one! BUT I would like you to include at least one scalloped edge in the card, and the card must include the color BROWN somewhere (light brown, dark brown.. whatever).. it can be in the image, in the paper, embellishments, or all of them.

Materials:
-Stamp: HÄnglar & StÄmplar ( Winter Kit Collection)
-Tools: Martha Stewart Heart Punch (Small) and Giga Heart Punch ( Large). Swirl (Revolution Die)
Embellishments: Prima Flowers, Crystal Lacquer. ( It's like the Crystal Effect from SU, but less expensive) Drew Drops, Stickles, Charms.
